RACE CAPACITY
Race Capacity: 3,000 runners
Entry into the 2013 New York City 10K will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Registration will close once the race capacity is reached.
GOODIE BAG
All participants will receive an official New York City 10K shirt, finisher medal, bib number, and B-Tag ChronoTrack timing device with their Goodie Bag.
PACKET PICK-UP
Coming soon.
All participants are required to pick up their Race Packet at Packet Pick-Up. Race day Packet Pick-Up will not be available. A third party may pick up your Race Packet with a copy of your photo ID.
AGE GROUP DIVISIONS
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
AWARDS
The top three overall male and female finishers will receive awards.
TIMING
The 2013 New York City 10K will feature the B-Tag ChronoTrack timing system. Participants who elect to be timed will receive a B-Tag timing device with their bib number.
COURSE TIME LIMIT
Participants must maintain a 15:00 mile pace and complete the race in 1 hour 30 minutes. Please note, your official time does not begin until you cross the start line.
START WAVE PLACEMENT
Participants will be assigned to an appropriate Start Wave based on the projected finishing time submitted on their entry form.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Public transportation is highly recommended. Please visit the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) website at www.transitchicago.com or the Metra website at www.metrarail.com to determine the best route of travel via public transportation.
Limited paid parking is available at the following locations:
Grant Park North Garage – 25 N Michigan Avenue
Grant Park South Garage – 325 S Michigan Avenue
Millennium Park Garage – 5 S Columbus Drive

WEATHER POLICY
The 2013 New York City 10K will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather or other conditions that may affect the safety and health of participants, race officials reserve the right to delay, postpone, or cancel the race. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
